Izmirta Rachman is an experienced energy and bioindustry professional with a strong academic and leadership background. He is currently a Doctoral candidate at Prasetiya Mulya University (2025), having previously earned a Master of Management from the same institution in 1997 and a Bachelor of Agriculture from IPB University, Bogor, in 1989. He holds several prominent industry leadership roles, including Chairman of the Association of Molasses-Using Industries (PIPTT) and Chairman of the Indonesian Spirit and Ethanol Producers Association (APSENDO), as well as serving as a member of the National Standardization Agency of Indonesia’s Technical Committee on Liquid Bioenergy. Since 2020, he has also led the Liquid Bioenergy Processing Division of the Indonesian Biomass Energy Society (MEBI). Professionally, he currently serves as Advisor to PT Pertamina New & Renewable Energy and was recently engaged as an Ethanol Expert for the Banyuwangi Bioethanol Project. His executive experience includes serving as Director of Operations at PT Sukses Mantap Sejahtera, Director at PT Energi Agro Nusantara, and more than a decade as General Manager of Internal Audit at PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical, reflecting deep expertise in renewable energy, operations, governance, and industrial leadership.
